Miss Hampshire Photoshoot with David Freeman Photography
On Sunday I had my official Miss Hampshire photoshoot which was one of my winner’s prizes. David Freeman is a well-known photographer along the south coast and in the Miss England community, and it was a real joy to work once again with someone so talented.
The shoot took place at Rhinefield House Hotel; one of the grandest hotels in the New Forest. The hotel is stunning and the gardens gave us ample opportunity for plenty of outdoor shots. Thank you so much to Katy and all the staff for their hospitality.
So, to the photos! I went for four looks overall – although I had about ten outfits with me!
The first look was very simply and something I would wear normally out and about. It was smart casual and so my poses were natural, quite smiley and basic. I wanted to show me being me first off.
Next up was a step into the seventies. The seventies is so on trend at the moment, yet the outfit I wore was retro but still quite timeless I thought, and I felt strong like a Charlie’s Angel! My jumpsuit definitely brought out another side to me and my poses were more sultry and exaggerated which was a lot of fun.
The next look had a very feminine, gypsy-esque vibe, which really suited the surrounding we were in. the blossom tree provided a perfect backdrop although I did get a few nettle stings!
Lastly I finished off with a monochrome vintage look which again suited the grounds and the hotel. We got some shots of me looking very pensive on a bench and we also used the look for some official photos with Mark Young – Mr Hampshire.
His shoot took place at the same time as mine so while one of us was modelling, the other would be getting changed which worked really well.
It was wonderful spending the day with Mark and his gorgeous girlfriend and their photos are stunning. I learnt so much from them both!
Thank you so much to the Hampshire team and David for the photoshoot and you can find out more info on how you can book one and see more images on David’s website
